PureMVC Team Mentoring Offered Print E-mail

As PureMVC continues to grow in popularity, more and more agencies and in-house development teams are standardizng on it as a way of producing maintainable code quickly that everyone on the team understands and that new team members can easily grasp.

Over two years old now, the framework is mature, well documented, and has an active developer community that has ported it to many languages and platforms. PureMVC's functionality is extended with a rational system of À la carte utilities that allow your applications to be as lightweight as possible, since there is no need to include the code for unused functionality.

Working with PureMVC is easy and allows teams to focus on the business of their application. But as with any technology, getting your team 'on the same page' is the challenge. Once you're there, it's smooth sailing.

Often it is not possible for an entire team to drop their daily duties and attend instructor-led training sessions. And, while online training can allow developers to come up to speed on their own time, the element of experienced, relevant feedback is missing.

We believe that there is no better place to learn the framework methodology and best practices than from the source. In response to this need, Futurescale is proud to offer PureMVC Team Mentoring with the framework architect, Cliff Hall.

Working onsite in your environment to your schedule, Cliff will bring your team up to speed on PureMVC, as they work on their project. Each individual is catered to as they have time during the engagement so that no one misses anything, and the information is delivered at the level and in the manner that individual requires.

If you feel your team could benefit from in situ PureMVC Mentoring, please contact us to get the ball rolling.

The <HEAD> Web Conference is a unique conference where the attendees and speakers all meet online rather than get on a plane, fly to another city, rent a hotel, and generally go to a lot of bother. There's even a pre-party in the Second Life virtual world.

Cliff Hall, Futurescale's founder and CEO, will be delivering a talk called Buiding Pyramids out of Bits: Thoughts on Writing Futureproof Software.
